The 14-tine garden rake can be used for all the usual flathead rake business, but this one is especially excellent for raking out gravel areas, and can also be used Japanese-style to rake patterns into your gravel garden.
Other uses: spreading and leveling mulch and soil, raking up debris.
Comes in 4 other sizes: 4-tines, 6-tines, 8-tines and 10-tines. The more teeth a rake has, the faster an area is covered. The smaller heads are lighter and easier to use for more congested areas, or for folks who typically find larger garden rakes to be heavy.
Like all Sneeboer tools it is designed for ease of use with ergonomics in mind - the longer-than-usual wooden shaft and the angle of the head makes using the tool for long periods of time easier on the gardener's body.
