Online orders shipping to the USA are currently suspended due to US government changes to customs duties and tariffs on imported goods. Effective April 7, 2026

Over the past few months, we have been experiencing great difficulty making deliveries to our US customers due to a host of US government changes to customs duties and tariffs on goods coming from Canada.*

Many shipments have been refused due to the significant increases in duties and tariffs, which are billed by couriers direct to the purchaser at the time of delivery. 

This creates a host of problems for us including prolonged delays or loss of goods, additional shipping and brokerage charges, and loss of non-refundable brokerage and credit card fees.

As a result, shipping to the USA has become so costly and problematic that we decided to suspend all shipments. A sad moment for us, but we hope that this situation will be resolved in the not-to-distant future. Fingers crossed.

*These include changes to customs duties rates on imported goods, the elimination of the customs duty exemption for purchases shipping from Canada valued under $800 (read more here), and new tariffs on some goods based on the type of material  (ie. steel) or the country of manufacture.
