Some of you have been asking if we have a serrated version of the Niwaki hori hori, and now we do. In fact, we have two!
This one has a similarly-sized blade, but is made of stainless, not carbon, steel. The beech handle is shaped so it has a slightly smaller grip. There's also a mini version.
The hori hori is an indispensable multi-purpose tool that my crew and I always carry on our tool belts. This tool performs many functions: weeder, planting tool (bulbs, plugs, small pots), trowel, root slicer, knife.
For those of you not in the know, 'hori hori' is literally translated as 'dig dig'.
