This deluxe double holster design is carefully tailored to hold a hori hori knife or folding saw*, secateurs and snips. Buy it alone or with the matching belt (sizes S-XL).
The pocket for the hori hori* has welted seams for added durability and strength so the sharp blade won't cut through the seams. This is the same type of construction you expect to find in a sheath for a standard knife. It is recommended that you insert and remove the blade with care to extend the life of this product.
The holster and the belt are made from thick, supple, oil-tanned leather that is rugged and durable. The belt has a double reinforced belt line with a center-bar buckle that offers extra support. All buckles and rivets are made of solid brass and won't rust.
*This sheath was designed specifically for the Niwaki hori hori, 7.25" long and 1.5" wide (overall length, blade plus handle,12.5" long). Handily, this sheath will also hold a Silky Pocketboy folding saw!
For those of you not yet converted to the pleasures of Japanese secateurs, the pocket is also wide enough to hold a pair of Felcos.

Size is based on belt line measurements*, not standard pant waist sizes.
I like to wear my tool belt over top of whatever gardening gear I'm wearing - sweaters, rain gear, jackets - for ease of access and removal. If you like to do the same, make sure you take that into account when choosing a size.
X Small - 31" - 36" belt line measurement
Small - 32" - 36.5" belt line measurement
Medium - 36" - 41.5" belt line measurement
Large - 39" - 43.5" belt line measurement
X Large - 41.5" - 46.5" belt line measurement
*How to measure your belt line: For accurate sizing, take a soft tape and measure your belt line, over your clothes, at the point where you will wear THIS belt. There are a total of 5 buckle holes on these belts so that you will have room to adjust according to the bulkiness of your clothing.
