Delivery, Returns, and Warranty


We ship small and mid-size tools to Canada and the USA via Canada Post. We do our best to ship orders as soon as we receive them. You will receive tracking information by email once your package has been received at the post office. Gardener's Kit is not responsible for any import charges or taxes incurred on deliveries.

**Covid 19 Update: May 2020**

We are processing & shipping online orders as usual, and have introduced flat rate shipping. We are also offering local curbside pick-ups in Victoria. Our warehouse is open by appointment only.

Flat Rate Shipping Details

If you live in BC, we'll ship your hand tool order for a $5 flat rate, oversize items for $20.

Out-of-province folks, we'll offer you a $15 flat rate for hand tools, but you'll have to contact us for a quote for bigger items.

Victoria customers, you can also choose the local curbside pickup option at checkout. Pickups are on Fridays 9-3, or by appointment.

Ladder customers in Vancouver may still place orders for local pickup by appointment only. All payments must be made in advance on-line.

Local Pick Up - Victoria, BC

Our warehouse is open for Local Pick Up on Friday's from 9am to 3pm, or by appointment. Our warehouse is located in the Vic West neighbourhood of Victoria, BC. Once your order has been processed we will contact you by email with specific details and to confirm directions and pick up times. Please select this option at checkout.


Ladders and Larger Items

Ladders and full length tools such as shovels and rakes are too large to be shipped via Canada Post. Please contact us for shipping quotes and options. Ladder pick up is available from warehouses in Victoria and Vancouver. Large item pickup is only available in Victoria.


We offer a full refund within 14 days of delivery for any goods returned in entirely unused condition, in their original packaging and ready for resale. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, we recommend you use a fully trackable service with insurance. Gardener's Kit is not responsible for any damage during return shipping. We will refund the original order on receipt of the returned goods. 

Defective Items & Warranty

If an item arrives damaged or defective, we will fully refund or replace your order provided we receive notification within 7 days of delivery.

All products carry a one year warranty against defect. This does not cover inappropriate use of a tool or general wear and tear through regular use. Please contact us by email and provide images - we will assess and then replace defective products free of charge.
