The word hori means "to dig" in Japanese and the "hori-hori" is traditionally used in Japan to collect specimens for bonsai. An excellent multi-purpose tool that can be used not only for digging, but for planting, weeding, cutting, and dividing.
We've been selling the Niwaki Hori Hori since the get-go at Gardener's Kit and its a great tool, but we've had some occasional requests for a model with a serrated blade. So here it is!
This one has a heavy steel blade with a serrated edge on one side and a sharpened edge on the other. If weight is a concern, you should know that the blade is significantly heavier than the Niwaki model.
- Serrated steel blade
- Weight: 10 oz. (270g)
- 6.75” blade (17cm)
