This is the stainless steel version of Sneeboer’s traditional lawn edger, made tougher with a stainless steel shaft and handle along with the sharp, hand-forged stainless steel blade which cuts through turf quickly and with ease. It is slightly heavier than the original wood handle and shaft.
My crew uses the Sneeboer lawn edger frequently, and I have had my original tool for over 12 years. We always use it instead of a spade for edging lawns because of its ergonomics - it is the most efficient and comfortable tool to use for the job.
Gardener’s Kit Tip: Edging the garden beds and paved pathways is a quick and easy way to make a garden look tidy, crisp and well-defined. Even if you don’t have time for a detailed once-over of the garden, you can quickly improve the overall picture by edging. We hand-edge a couple of times a year in our clients' gardens, the rest of the time we use a strimmer.
