These single loops are designed to support single stems that are susceptible to flopping as the flowers develop and get heavy, or that may be knocked down during rainfall and/or extremely windy weather. Simple, unobtrusive design.
Shown in the photos on my thornless blackberries, but I really love using these for lilies and other heavy-headed flowers. Eliminates the need for staking with canes and twine, which is difficult to do well and invisibly. Invisibility is the key to maintaining a visually pleasing picture!
Recommended for: Lilies, Hollyhocks, Delphinium, Monkshood, and any other tall, single-stemmed plants. It is important to know how tall your plant will get and its flowering habit to choose the correct type and height of support.
