A dibber is not a particularly common tool in North America and for those of you who haven't used one before, it is used for planting seeds or small bulbs. It is pushed and wiggled into the soil to the desired depth and width.

Extremely useful when planting large quantities of small bulbs, the finely-sharpened tip means it goes in the ground easily, and the steam-bent handle is really comfortable to hold and work with.

My crew trialed this tool along with a straight-handled version last autumn, and this one was the hands down winner. Super for masses of small bulbs like crocus, muscari, scilla, etc. - it takes the strain off your wrist because its used with a different motion.
