This leather toolbelt has been custom-designed for Gardener's Kit specifically to hold our Japanese pruning tools. And it does an ace job of it!
There's a version for righties and for lefties.
Custom pockets snugly hold everything you'll need on your maintenance and pruning rounds: secateurs, snips, scissors, folding saw, hori hori or weeding trowel, keys, phone, cleaning/sharpening bits 'n bobs.
I have been using my toolbelt for several years and am so pleased with it - the wide panel spreads the weight of the tools nicely, there is enough room for me to carry all of my essentials, and it is really comfortable to wear. I'm more organized and that conveys a strong sense of professionalism to my clients.
The one-piece design means that it doesn't slip or slide around on your belt when you bend or crouch, and it's much more comfortable to wear than 2 or 3 separate holsters with individual tools in them. And, most importantly, when you keep your tools are on your body, you don't accidentally dump them in the compost pile or forget where you put them down!
Made from thick, supple, oil-tanned leather that is rugged and durable. The hori hori sleeve is a proper knife sheath: triple-welted and reinforced with rivets to prevent the sharp blade from cutting through the seams. Double reinforced belt line with a center-bar buckle offers extra support. All buckles and rivets are made of solid brass and won't rust.
We recommend Smith's Leather Balm to protect and extend the life of your leather toolbelt or holster.
Sizing: S/M/L/XL - Right-Handed & Left-Handed
Size is based on belt line measurements*, not standard pant waist sizes.
I like to wear my toolbelt over top of whatever gardening gear I'm wearing - sweaters, rain gear, jackets - for ease of access and removal. If you like to do the same, make sure you take that into account when choosing a size.
Small - 34" - 38.5" belt line measurement
Medium - 37" - 41.5" belt line measurement
Large - 40" - 44.5" belt line measurement
X-Large - 42" - 46.5" belt line measurement
*How to measure your belt line: For accurate sizing, take a soft tape and measure your belt line, over your clothes, at the point where you will wear THIS belt. There are a total of 5 buckle holes on these belts so that you will have room to adjust according to the bulkiness of your clothing.
