The workshop will be led by Mayan Vered, horticulturist and flower farmer at Flowerface Farm (more about Mayan below).

All materials are provided:  wire wreath frame, mossing twine, plant materials, along with a pair of Okatsune Flower Snips from Gardener's Kit and instruction and guidance from Mayan!

We will be set up inside our showroom but please dress for the weather as the foliage supplies will be outside and you'll be back and forth throughout the workshop. We'll have coffee & tea brewing to keep you warm.

Workshop participants will receive 15% off all tools & ladders on Dec 2.

About Mayan and Flowerface Farm

Mayan runs Flowerface, a 1-acre cut flower farm on the Sa’anich peninsula, growing a wide variety of unique cut flowers, foliage, grasses and perennials. Flowerface provides stunning blooms for weddings, events and wholesale markets and conducts workshops throughout the year. In the winter, we offer seasonal wreaths and dried bouquets.

Mayan has been growing cut flowers for 8 years, first in Vancouver and now here on the Island. Wreath-making has always been a big part of Flowerface and we have led workshops for the past 5 years. Flowers from the fields are naturally dried each season to add extra sparkle and whimsy to each creation.
