Niwaki Hori Hori Pro

This new hori hori from Niwaki is forged from SK-5 carbon steel, making it sharper and tougher than other horis. The FSC beech handle is subtly shaped for a more comfortable grip, and comes with its own canvas sheath.

The hori hori is an indispensable multi-purpose tool that my crew and I always carry on our tool belts. The hori hori performs many functions: weeder, planting tool (bulbs, plugs, small pots), trowel, root slicer, knife. Means you don’t have to carry as much gear around with you when working in the garden.

The blade is varnished to protect the carbon steel from oxidation during transport. It is normal for this to be uneven and to rub off with use.
