What a practical tote bag! I knew it was a winner when my 20-something son asked if he could have one to carry his laptop and other gear!

Deep enough to hold shears and other gardening gear, or baguettes and produce from the farmer's market. And strong enough to really load it up and carry some weight. I use mine to carry work files and my ever-present clipboard back and forth to the office.

This version of the Daikon Tote is made from a limited-edition Niwaki Camo design by Japanese illustrator Natsko Seki and Niwaki founder Jake Hobson. Inspired by Japanese gardens, this imaginative pattern is reminiscent of the textural details and shapes of pine needles and cloud-pruned trees. And it looks great in person - I wasn't so sure when I saw it online, but I loved it when I saw it for real at the Chelsea Flower Show this year. A successful marriage of orange and pink!

Best usage

Simple, functional design, neutral colour, tough and weatherproof. Has a deep interior pocket, reinforced interior base to stop sharp tools from poking through the bottom, hand straps AND shoulder strap. Sealed with a popper fastener to keep weather out.
