We're now offering an in-house sharpening service!
Available only for tools purchased from Gardener's Kit:
- secateurs
- snips
- shears
- topiary clippers & barracudas
- loppers
The Details:
We will clean tools, removing resin/sap build-up and staining that happens through regular use, and reasonable amounts of rust. If needed, we will take them apart to clean the separate parts, then oil and reassemble the tool(s). We can replace springs, bolts and vinyl sleeves for a small extra charge.
How it works:
1. Deliver your tool(s) to Gardener's Kit HQ in Victoria, in person or by mail (see full mailing instructions below).
2. Purchase the appropriate Sharpening Service in-store when you drop-off, or on-line BEFORE you mail your package.
3. Replacement parts are available for an extra fee. We will let you know if we think something needs to be replaced.
4. Sharpening service is only available for tools purchased from Gardener's Kit.
5. Sharpening service is not available for saw blades, however, we do sell replacement blades for all of the saws we sell.
Mailing Instructions:
1. Purchase the appropriate Sharpening Service on-line BEFORE you mail the package.
2. Select shipping at check-out to cover the cost of return postage (flat rate shipping rates apply).
3. Include your Sharpening Service order # in the package with your tool(s).
4. We recommend that you use an insured and traceable mail/courier service when shipping your tools to Gardener's Kit.
5. Gardener's Kit is not responsible for lost or damaged tool shipments.
PLEASE ALLOW 1-2 WEEKS FOR YOUR SHARPENING & CLEANING TO BE COMPLETED. DEPENDS HOW BUSY WE ARE!
