This streamlined design is carefully tailored to hold a hori hori knife, with additional custom pockets for pruners and floral snips.
The pocket for the hori hori blade* has welted seams for added durability. This means that there is an extra strip of leather sewn into each seam to help protect the stitch line from the blade edge. This is the same type of construction you expect to find in a sheath for a standard knife. Even with this enhanced seam system, it is recommended that you insert and remove the blade with care to extend the life of this product, and any sheath.
Made from thick, supple, oil-tanned leather that is rugged and durable. Double reinforced belt line with a center-bar buckle offers extra support. All buckles and rivets are made of solid brass and won't rust.
Matching belt sold separately.
*this sheath was designed around a hori hori whose blade is 7.25" long and 1.5" wide. The overall length of the tool (blade plus handle) is 12.5" long.
